(ist)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>JakCityNews (Prancis) &#8211; Petenis Indonesia, Jessy &#8216;Echi&#8217; Rompies membuat kejutan dengan menumbangkan unggulan teratas ganda di babak pertama turnamen WTA 125 di Saint Malo, Perancis, Selasa (3\/5\/2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Echi yang berpasangan dengan Peangtarn &#8216;Earth&#8217; Plipuech asal Thailand itu sukses menyingkirkan duet Bernarda Pera (AS) dan Magda Linette (Polandia) dengan skor akhir 1-6 7-6(2) 12-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kami kalah cepat di set pertama. Bola lawan jatuh di garis semua dan serve mereka pun bagus,&#8221; ucap Echi usai laga berdurasi satu jam 30 menit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Set kedua kami ganti strategi dengan banyak formasi saat serve serta agresif merangsek ke net. Pertandingan jadi lebih ketat dan kepercayaan diri lawan pun menurun hingga kami bisa menang,&#8221; paparnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Di perempat final turnamen berhadiah total sekitar 125.000 dollar AS atau Rp 1,8 milyar ini, Echi\/Earth akan meladeni tantangan wakil tuan rumah, Estelle Cascino\/Jesikka Ponchet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kami percaya diri bisa melaju lebih jauh, toh sudah melewati lawan terberat di babak pertama,&#8221; tekad Echi yang bakal jadi tulang punggung timnas tenis Indonesia di SEA Games Vietnam, 12-23 Mei ini.
